CZ Shadow 2 red dot mounts

CZ Shadow 2 red dot mounts replace the rear sight in the dovetail so you can run a red dot on non-Optics Ready Shadow 2 slides—no milling required.

When to choose a mount

• Your Shadow 2 isn’t Optics Ready: add an optic without modifying the slide.
• Test before committing: try dot models/positions before buying an OR slide.
• Easy revert: swap back to irons in minutes for rules, carry, or resale.

Install basics

• Degrease interfaces and screws; apply Loctite threadlocker.
• Torque to spec for mount-to-slide and optic-to-mount screws; re-check after your first range session.
• Verify screw length & pitch so nothing protrudes into the slide channel.

Model notes

If you have a Shadow 2 Optics Ready, a plate gives a lower, more rigid interface—see Optics Ready plates. The Shadow 2 Carry uses a direct-fit cut (RMSc / Holosun K-series) and does not need a dovetail mount for those footprints.
