Stock

CZ makes original folding and collapsible stocks for the Bren 2, including the BR stock, for models in 5.56x45 and 7.62x39. To fit one, remove the lower receiver, release the factory stock adapter by sliding it down after you release the lever, then slide the new stock in while you push the buffer. It locks when it is fully in. For the BR stock, Neoteric Designs makes an adjustable cheek rest.

Handguard and rails

Original CZ M-Lok handguards come in a long version, 200 mm, and a short version, 180 mm. For 11 inch models CZ also makes side rails, sold as a pair.

Controls

• Safety: Manul extended safety selectors in polymer and Neoteric Designs extended safety levers with a large thumb pad. The Neoteric over-travel limiter cog stops the factory levers exactly at the fire position, where they would otherwise go slightly past it.
• Charging handle: the Manul enhanced charging handle in polymer.
• Magwell: a Manul polymer magwell for faster reloads.

Muzzle

The Ascalon Arms V6 compensator for the Bren 2 in 5.56x45 is made of vanadium steel with a 1/2 x 28 UNF thread. It directs the gas symmetrically to both sides to reduce muzzle climb and recoil. It weighs 38 g.

Magazines, sights and slings

Original CZ magazines hold 10 rounds, in polymer for 5.56x45 and 7.62x39, and in steel for 5.56x45. The original CZ sights are foldable. For a sling you can choose CZ single point and two point slings, made for the Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2, and QD sling swivels from CZ and from KMR for 25 mm or 38 mm slings.

Spare parts

Original CZ spare parts for the Bren 2 include the recoil spring assembly, piston spring, main spring for 7.62x39, firing pin springs, the back strap, pins and springs for the fire mode selector and many more. The part number in the name matches the parts list in your user manual.
