Hammers

The hammer strikes the firing pin. Its weight and shape affect the lock time, the strike on the primer and the feel of the trigger. Here you find hammers for the Shadow 2, TS 2 and SP-01 Shadow from Eemann Tech, Ultimate and KMR.

• Eemann Tech Super Light for the Shadow 2 and TS 2, 9 g, made to reduce sear creep and give a smoother, lighter single action pull. It is usually paired with a light main spring. Eemann Tech states it is IPSC Production Division legal and recommends professional fitting.
• Ultimate Light for a shorter lock time and a lighter, cleaner pull, and Ultimate Heavy for a stronger, more consistent strike. Both fit the Shadow 2, TS and TS 2.
• KMR stainless steel hammers: Retro and Thin SA/DA hammers for the Shadow 2, SP-01 and SP-01 Shadow, a Hidden SA hammer for the TS 2, Shadow 2 and SP-01 Shadow, and a Wide SA hammer for the Czechmate, TS and TS 2.

Can I install a new hammer in my CZ at home?

Only if you have experience. The hammer works together with the sear and the safety. Eemann Tech recommends professional fitting for its Super Light hammer to make sure the safety and sear engagement are correct.
