Replace the entire sight set or just the rear sight?

It depends on whether you are satisfied with the factory front sight. If you are, you can simply replace the rear sight. CZ Shadow 2 Compact models utilize the same height for factory front sights as aftermarket sights. This is a significant advantage of the CZ Shadow 2 Compact over many other CZ models.

If you are happy with the front sight, you only need to look for a rear sight and do not need to change the entire sight set.

What sights to choose?

If you are not looking for a specific type of sight, we recommend choosing full fiber optic sights – both in the rear and front sights.

From our experience and customer feedback, the color contrast between the fibers of the front sight and rear sight, as well as different fiber diameters, are highly appreciated. A combination of 1 mm fiber in the rear sight, which is closer to your eye, and 1.5 mm fiber in the front sight, which is further away, provides the ideal difference for comfortable aiming.

If you prefer the option with fiber optics only in the front sight, a fiber with a diameter of 1 mm will suffice.

Everything depends on your personal preference and experience.

What about the front sight when I install a red dot plate?

The popularity of red dots among shooters is growing due to their convenience in aiming.

Once you install the red dot plate for the CZ Shadow 2 Compact, you can no longer use the rear sight for aiming.

But what about the front sight, which loses its function? A front sight filler elegantly replaces the unnecessary front sight.

Sights for CZ Shadow 2 Compact

If you have the CZ Shadow 2 Compact, you can use classic sights or replace them with a red dot. This differentiates the CZ Shadow 2 Compact from many other CZ models.

The dovetail profile of the CZ Shadow 2 Compact is the same as that of classic CZ Shadow 2 models. The cut on the optics-ready slide removes the entire part of the slide that holds the rear sight.
