Spare magazines let you train longer, reload faster and keep a backup when one magazine gets damaged. Almost all magazines here are original CZ magazines made in the Czech Republic, so they fit and feed the way the factory intended. You can get magazines for CZ pistols, the Scorpion Evo 3 and Bren 2, and for the CZ rimfire and centrefire rifles. Position 7 adds a competition aluminium magazine for the CZ 457.

Shared magazines
Some CZ models use the same magazine, which makes it easier to share magazines between guns:
- The Shadow 2 and CZ 75 SP-01 share the 17 and 19 round magazines.
- The Shadow 2 Compact, Shadow 2 Carry, CZ 75 P-01 and CZ 75 Compact share a 15 round magazine.
- The P-10F and P-09 share the 10, 15 and 19 round magazines.
- The CZ 457, CZ 455 and CZ 512 share the rimfire magazines in .22 LR and in .17 HMR and .22 WMR.
Capacity and calibre
The calibre and the capacity are in the name of every magazine. Check both before you order, because a 9x19 magazine will not work in a .45 ACP pistol, and a .22 LR magazine will not work in a .22 WMR rifle. For example:
- Shadow 2 and SP-01: 17 or 19 rounds in 9x19.
- TS 2 and TS 2 Orange: 20 rounds in 9x19.
- CZ 75B: 16 rounds in 9x19.
- P-10C: 15 or 17 rounds. P-10S: 12 rounds. P-10M: 7 rounds. P-10F in .45 ACP: 13 rounds.
- Scorpion Evo 3: 10 or 20 rounds in 9x19 or .22 LR.
- Bren 2: 10 round magazines in 5.56x45 and 7.62x39.
- CZ 457 .22 LR: 5, 10, 15 or 25 rounds, or 13 rounds in the Position 7 aluminium magazine.
Some shooting ranges or local rules limit the magazine capacity. Low capacity versions such as 10 round magazines help you stay within these limits.
Materials and finishes
-
Steel magazines are used for the CZ 527 and CZ 557 rifles and for some CZ 457 and Bren 2 magazines. They are strong and resist wear.
-
Nickel magazines for the CZ 75B, Shadow 2 and SP-01 have a nickel finish that resists corrosion and makes the magazine slide easily.
-
Aluminium and polymer magazines are lighter. Most P-10, P-07 and TS 2 magazines combine an aluminium body with polymer parts.
-
Polymer magazines are used for the Scorpion Evo 3, Bren 2, CZ 600 and most rimfire magazines.
Competition magazines
The Position 7 13 round aluminium magazine for the CZ 457 in .22 LR is CNC machined from 7075 aluminium. It gives you 12+1 rounds, the usual capacity for PRS rimfire stages, and it has witness holes for every round. Its straighter shape sticks out less at the front, which helps on bags and barricades, and makes the front magazine release easier to reach.
The original CZ 19 round magazine for the Shadow 2 and SP-01 is longer than the standard magazine. Aftermarket base pads are not recommended on it, because they leave a visible gap between the frame and the base pad.
Magazine parts and accessories
You can replace a worn magazine spring in your CZ 457 magazine with an original CZ spring for 5 or 10 round magazines in .22 LR, or for 10 round magazines in .17 HMR and .22 WMR. The Position 7 empty chamber indicator goes into the magazine well instead of a magazine. It stops the bolt from closing and shows everyone around that the rifle is empty. For pistol magazine springs and base pads, see Springs and Base pads.

Frequently asked questions
Do magazines from one CZ model fit another CZ model?
Yes, in some cases. The Shadow 2 and SP-01 share magazines, and so do the Shadow 2 Compact, Carry, P-01 and CZ 75 Compact. The P-10F and P-09 share magazines too. Other models need their own.
Can I put extended base pads on my CZ magazines?
Yes, on most standard magazines. The exception is the original CZ 19 round magazine for the Shadow 2 and SP-01. It is longer than the standard magazine, and an aftermarket base pad would leave a gap.
Which magazine capacity should I choose for my CZ?
It depends on your discipline and local rules. For training and most sport shooting, choose the standard or the largest capacity for your model. If your range or competition limits capacity, choose a 10 round version where one exists.
Are these original CZ magazines?
Yes, almost all of them. All magazines except the Position 7 aluminium magazine for the CZ 457 are original CZ magazines.
