CZ Shadow 2 safeties

The safety lever on a CZ Shadow 2 is also where many shooters rest the thumb of the shooting hand. A different lever changes how easily you reach it, how securely your thumb sits on it and which side of the pistol you can operate it from. You can choose safeties from CZ, KMR, Eemann Tech and Ultimate.

Complete safeties

CZ and KMR make complete safeties for the TS 2, Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Compact. You choose the side and the size of the levers:

• Wide left: enlarged lever on the left side, for right hand shooters. From CZ and KMR. KMR also makes a version with an angled lever.
• Wide right: enlarged lever on the right side, for left hand shooters. From CZ and KMR.
• Wide ambidextrous: enlarged levers on both sides. From CZ and KMR.
• Flat: thin levers on both sides, from CZ. KMR makes a flat ambidextrous version with low profile levers.

Single levers

These levers replace one side and work with the original CZ lever on the other side:

• Eemann Tech Competition safety lever: left side, the shape of the factory wide safety, with a larger lever.
• Eemann Tech flat safety lever: left side, low profile, for shooters who do not rest the thumb on the safety.
• Eemann Tech front-shifted safety lever: 2 mm further forward than the factory lever, for more room between the trigger finger and the lever. Drop-in, no fitting.
• Eemann Tech low profile large safety lever: 3 mm lower and further forward than the factory large safety, with large serrations.
• Eemann Tech low profile safety, large, right: replaces the right lever, 3 mm lower and further forward than the factory lever. It also fits the CZ 75B and SP-01.
• Ultimate safety lever: left side, 2 mm further forward, with an extended shield for the thumb. Designed and tested by IPSC World Champion Eric Grauffel.

Material

All safeties are steel. The CZ and KMR safeties are made in the Czech Republic.

Which safety do I need as a left hand shooter?

A wide right safety from CZ or KMR, or a wide ambidextrous safety. The enlarged lever is on the right side.

Do these safeties fit the Shadow 2 Compact?

Yes. The CZ and KMR safeties are made for the TS 2, Shadow 2 and Shadow 2 Compact. Most Eemann Tech levers and the Ultimate lever also list the Compact.

Can I replace only the left lever?

Yes. The Eemann Tech and Ultimate left side levers work with the original CZ right side lever.
