Triggers

(28 products)

The trigger is where every shot starts. Its shape and position decide where your finger sits, and its adjustment decides how long the pre-travel is, where it breaks and how fast it resets. A trigger that fits your finger helps you press straight back without moving the sights. You can choose triggers from Eemann Tech, KMR, Toni System, Zendl, Ascalon Arms, Top Strely, CJ Manufactory, Timney and original CZ triggers.

Triggers for your model

The Shadow 2, Shadow 2 Compact, TS 2, CZ 75B, SP-01 and SP-01 Shadow share most triggers. The P-10C, P-10F and P-10S share theirs. Open the collection for your gun:

SA or SA/DA

For the CZ 75 family the product name tells you the trigger type.

  • SA triggers are made for single action. Choose them for single action pistols such as the TS 2 and CZ 75 Tactical Sports.
  • SA/DA triggers keep the double action function. Choose them if you shoot your Shadow 2, Shadow 2 Carry, CZ 75B or SP-01 in double action.

Shape and position

The distance from your grip to the trigger face depends on the length of your fingers. If the trigger is too far, you pull it to the side. If it is too close, you push it. Choose by your hand:

  • Back-shifted or small hand triggers sit closer to the grip. They suit short fingers. The Eemann Tech SA/DA kit for smaller hands moves the trigger back by up to 5 mm with the hammer down.
  • Front-shifted, extra front-shifted or large hand triggers sit farther forward. They suit long fingers.
  • Straight, flat and hooked triggers change the feel of the face. A flat or straight face gives a consistent finger position. A hooked face holds the finger at the bottom of the trigger.
  • Classic KMR triggers have a shape similar to the CZ TS Czechmate.

Most SA triggers from Eemann Tech, KMR, Toni System and Zendl have serrations that stop the finger from sliding sideways. They also have two adjustment screws that reduce the pre-travel and over-travel for a shorter reach, a faster break and a quicker reset.

Triggers for the P-10

For the P-10C, P-10F and P-10S you can replace the factory polymer trigger with:

  • the original CZ duralumin trigger or the KMR aluminium trigger, both more comfortable than the factory part,
  • the Ascalon Arms Ergon aluminium trigger, with a trigger safety almost fully integrated into the flat face, two resistance settings and a 5 degree smaller trigger dip,
  • the Top Strely modified duralumin trigger for sport shooting, with a shorter and lighter travel and two springs for a 1.6 kg or 1.8 kg pull.

Triggers for the Scorpion Evo 3

The factory Scorpion trigger is made for military and police use, with a heavy pull and long travel. For sport shooting you can choose:

  • the Ascalon Arms two-stage drop-in trigger pack in stainless steel, with 3 mm travel and a 1.4 kg or 1.8 kg pull,
  • the Timney drop-in trigger assembly V2 for a cleaner break and faster reset, with a curved or straight shoe,
  • the Ascalon Arms flat ergonomic trigger and the CJ Manufactory duralumin trigger, which replace only the trigger shoe.

Triggers for the CZ 457

The original CZ Flyweight trigger is made for ISSF style target shooting. It is a two-stage trigger with an adjustable second stage pull of 0.9 to 1.8 N (about 92 to 184 g). You can adjust both stages, the over-travel and the angle of the blade, and it accepts Anschütz trigger blades. It comes with a target firing pin. The Timney trigger assembly is a drop-in alternative with a lighter, cleaner pull and a curved or straight shoe.

Trigger kits

The Eemann Tech TS 2 kit is a complete drop-in competition setup. It includes a straight serrated SA trigger, springs, a guide rod and a buffer. It fits the TS 2, TS 2 Orange and Racing Green, CZ 75 Tactical Sports and TS Orange. For springs only, see Springs.

Frequently asked questions

Which trigger fits my finger length on my CZ?

It depends on your reach. Choose a back-shifted or small hand trigger for short fingers. Choose a front-shifted or large hand trigger for long fingers. Choose a standard position if the factory trigger already fits.

Can I install a new trigger in my CZ at home?

Yes, on the drop-in trigger packs. The Timney units for the CZ 457 and Scorpion, the Ascalon Arms trigger pack for the Scorpion and the Eemann Tech TS 2 kit are made to drop in. On the CZ 75 family the trigger sits in the frame with the trigger bar and springs, so a gunsmith is the safe choice if you have not done it before.

Should I choose an SA or an SA/DA trigger for my CZ?

Choose SA if your pistol fires in single action only, such as the TS 2. Choose SA/DA if you use double action on your Shadow 2, CZ 75B or SP-01.
