The sear spring tool features a tiny neodymium magnet that securely holds the sear spring while the short leg of the spring rests in a micro hole within the tool. Special relief cuts in the tool allow for correct positioning during installation.

The tool is crafted from brass, which is softer than the spring, ensuring no damage occurs, yet it is hard enough to perform the task effectively.
